Welcome to My Blog

Since selling my first painting, I have been busy with my oils and brushes. Joining the local North East Ct Art Guild has given me a chance to meet many of the local artists and also the opportunity to show and sell my art at various venues in the area. I have set up two slide shows below, one of my current paintings and the other of recently sold works. As you look thru the paintings you can pause on any of the paintings for a closer look, the title, size, and price. All paintings come framed and are priced individually. For the best view I find if you click on any painting it will enlarge, then you click full screen, and they will come up almost to size. If you come to my home gallery in Woodstock you have the option to select your own frame which I can reframe as you wait. I have three color choices available. Most all of my framed paintings are in the $150 to $300 price range. Send me an email for questions on any one particular painting. kmcf@earthlink.net

I also enjoy working on commissions. I will take your pictures or come out to your place and take my own and then return to my studio and put your place on canvas. $200-$300 range

Enjoy the Show!!

The Mansfield General Store

I spent time this morning with my friend Richard Young from Eastford and Val Law from Woodstock. We had a nice breakfast over at The Mansfield General Store in Mansfield Center. Walking into the store one is reminded of the days of long ago...this truely is a general store..has all the smells and feelings of days gone by. I now have several paintings hanging on the walls. Stop in for coffee or a good feed and check the place out, you will be glad you did!! Looking for antiques?? They also have a large room full of everything....
